Grapes: 100% Malbec from 20+ year old vines
Vineyards: Single vineyard in Lacapelle-Cabanac commune. South facing, hillside vineyard on the "3rd Cahors Terrace". Clay and limestone soil with pebbles. Certified organic.
Winemaking: Cold maceration with destemmed grapes. Fermentation with native yeasts with gentle pumping-over. 18 month élevage in neutral oak barrels. Gentle filtration to limit sulfur use. 200 cases produced.
