Vineyards: Continental climate. Vineyards are positioned next to Condrieu. 12+ year old hillside vines face South-East. Mica and granite soil. Yield = 45 HL/ha  

Winemarking: Grapes are hand picked in small crates. The carefully selected grapes are pressed whole (without having been crushed or de-stemmed). The must is fermented in stainless using only wild yeasts. Aged 11 months in 80% oak barrels (20% new) and 20% stainless on lees with weekly stirrings without racking.

2012 Le Grand Vallon 3 Condrieu  

Villages : St Pierre de Boeuf

Grapes: 100% Viognier

Density: 7000 vines/Ha

Vineyards: Continental climate. Single vineyard. 23+ year old hillside vines face South-East. Quartzitic granite & Loess soil. Yield = 44HL/ha  

Winemarking: Grapes are hand picked in small crates.. The must is fermented in cask at low temperature using only wild yeasts. Aged 11 months in oak barrels (35% new) on lees with weekly stirrings without racking. 625 cases produced.

2012 Syrah “l’appel des Sereines” VdF

Villages : Chavanay, Ardoix, St Michel sur Rhône, Veri

Grapes: 100% Syrah

Density: 5000 vines/Ha

Vineyards :  Continental climate. Vineyards are positioned next to Condrieu. The 10+ year old hillside vines face South-East. Decomposed granite soil. Yields = 50 HL/ha

Winemaking :  Grapes are hand picked in small crates. 45% Whole Cluster fermentation. The must is fermented in open top tanks using only wild yeasts. Aged 10 months in 60% oak barrels (3-5yrs) and 40% foudres.

2012 St. Joseph “Poivre et Sol” : Saint Joseph  

Villages : Chavanay, Ardoix, St Pierre de Boeuf  

Grapes: 100% Syrah

Density: 5000-8000 vines/Ha  

Vineyards :  Continental climate. The 20+ year old hillside vines face East and South-East. Decomposed granite soil with quartz. Yields = 40 HL/ha

Winemaking :  Grapes are hand picked in small crates. 45% Whole Cluster fermentation. The must is fermented in both stainless and open top tanks using only wild yeasts. Aged 18 months in 3-5yr old oak barrels. 1666 cases produced.

2012 St. Joseph Mairlant  Saint Joseph   

Villages : Chavanay, Ardoix, St Pierre de Boeuf

Grapes: 100% Syrah

Density: 5000 vines/Ha

Vineyards :  Continental climate. 25+ year old hillside vines face South-East. Decomposed granite soil. Yields = 40 HL/ha

Winemaking :  Grapes are hand picked in small crates. 45% Whole Cluster fermentation. The must is fermented in both stainless and open top tanks using only wild yeasts. Aged 18 months in 10% new oak barrels and 90% 2-4yr old barrels. 1250 cases produced.

2012 “Le Gallet Blanc” - Côte-Rôtie  

Villages : Ampuis, St. Cyr Sur Rhone, St Pierre de Boeu 

Grapes: 99% Syrah, 1% Viognier  

Density: 7500 vines/Ha

Vineyards :  Continental climate. The 20+ year old hillside vines face South-East. Decomposed granite, schist with quartz soil. Yields = 40 HL/ha

Winemaking :  Grapes are hand picked in small crates. 50% Whole Cluster fermentation. The must is fermented in both stainless and open top tanks using only wild yeasts. Aged 18 months in oak barrels (50% new).
